PHOENIX (AP) ? In the chaotic moments after a gunman wounded Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, investigators quickly turned a patrol car into a makeshift whiteboard, using markers to scrawl relevant information about the investigation.
By the end of the day, the car was covered with details on the man who carried out the rampage, the hospitals where victims were being treated and a crude diagram of the crime scene.
Photos of the car were among 600 images that were taken by investigators in the aftermath of the January 2011 attack and were made public Tuesday by the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The images provided a window into the early hours of the investigation and included the first publicly released photos of the handgun and high-capacity pistol magazines Jared Lee Loughner carried during the attack.
The image of the patrol car was a striking reminder of how investigators scrambled following the shooting, using whatever resources they could to inform officers at the scene.
The handwriting included phone numbers of investigators, medical conditions of victims, and the name and birth date of Loughner.
Police also made a note on the car's trunk that Loughner had previously been cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, a charge that was dismissed after he completed a diversion program. Someone drew a stick-figure sketch of the scene, including where Loughner and Giffords were located at the time of the attack.
A Post-it note on the patrol car listed the name of Bryce Tierney, a high school friend of Loughner's who hadn't talked to Loughner in months.
Loughner had left a message on Tierney's cellphone hours before the shooting, saying, "Hey Bryce, it's Jared. We had some good times together. Peace out."
Loughner was sentenced in November to seven consecutive life sentences, plus 140 years, after he pleaded guilty to 19 federal charges in a shooting that inspired Giffords to become a national leader on gun control. The images released Tuesday contained the very high-capacity magazines that her organization is trying to restrict. Giffords did not comment on the release of the photos.
At the time of the shooting, Loughner had two magazines that held up to 31 bullets, two 15-round magazines, a 4-inch knife and other items.
Loughner had cleared a federal background check and legally bought the 9 mm Glock 19 semi-automatic weapon at a sporting goods store months before the shooting. Though he was carrying the knife during the attack, Loughner didn't use it to injure anyone.
The images were made public nearly two months after the Sheriff's Department released roughly 2,700 pages of investigative reports examining the shooting, marking the public's first view into documents that authorities had kept private since the attack. The records provided more detail about the deteriorating psychological condition of Loughner in the hours leading up to the attack and the first glimpse into Loughner's family.
News organizations seeking police records and photos from the shooting were denied access in the months after Loughner's arrest. U.S. District Judge Larry Burns later cleared the way for the release of the photos and records, saying Loughner's right to a fair trial was no longer on the line now that his criminal case has been resolved.
Mavy Stoddard, who lost her husband Dorwan Stoddard in the massacre and suffered three gunshot wounds herself, said seeing photographs of the gun that killed her husband was hurtful but she understood the public eventually would see them.
"It's upsetting, of course. It's what I know killed my husband," she said.
Arizona's chief federal judge and a 9-year-old girl were among those killed in the rampage. Thirteen people were injured, including Giffords, who was left partially blind with a paralyzed right arm and brain injury. She resigned from Congress last year.
Other photos released Tuesday show images of a credit card record for earplugs that Loughner bought, and dozens of vehicles that were in the parking lot of the shopping center where the shooting unfolded.
The most graphic image shows a small puddle of blood on the ground outside the Safeway supermarket where the attack occurred, with plastic bags and other trash. Another photo shows a specimen cup that contained a bullet fragment recovered from the shooting scene.
Other photos show sheriff's deputies talking to people in the parking lot, the interior of the cab that Loughner took to the shopping center, the motel room where he stayed the night before the attack, and a motel record noting the time he checked in but also saying in a handwritten notation that the motel operators "don't know when he left."
Pam Simon, a former Giffords staffer who survived two gunshot wounds to her chest and wrist, hadn't seen the photos yet but wasn't avoiding them either.
For Simon, the release is a reminder of the magnitude of tragedy of gun violence. She said she has recognized the trauma it has created when talking to people who were working at the grocery store and nearby businesses.
"As far as I'm concerned, I don't have any burning desire to see them (the photos) right now, I don't feel any urgency," she said. "I've worked really hard at gathering at the puzzle pieces for myself. I feel like I see that day through the people I've talked to and the pictures I have seen, clearly enough."
Loughner's guilty plea allowed him to avoid the death penalty. He is serving his sentence at a federal prison medical facility in Springfield, Mo., where he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and forcibly given psychotropic drug treatments to make him fit for trial.

Climate change is already melting the Arctic, queering weather and threatening food supplies. So who's paying the price for all these global warming impacts? It might seem like insurers are most at risk. Indeed, insurers did pay out some $33 billion in climate-related damages last year in the U.S. alone. But it turns out that bearing the brunt of climate change costs is you, the taxpayer. A new analysis by the Natural Resources Defense Council, the NRDC, finds that the federal government spent three times more than the private insurance industry on climate change impacts last year. And, of course, those federal efforts are entirely funded by taxpayers. ?It is in effect a climate disruption tax, equivalent to a 2.7 percentage point increase in what Americans paid in sales taxes last year.? That?s Daniel Lashof, director of the NRDC?s Climate and Clean Air Program and co-author of the report. We spent nearly $100 billion in 2012 on drought-related crop insurance, storms like Hurricane Sandy, floods and wildfires. By comparison the nation spent $95 billion on education last year and just $91 billion on transportation. Greenhouse gas pollution shows no signs of slowing, recently touching 400 parts-per-million. And as that number continues to rise, so will the price. ?David Biello Follow Scientific American on Twitter @SciAm and @SciamBlogs. At a time when the NFL wants to get more people from other countries interested in pro football, the best strategy could be getting more people from other countries playing pro football.
As recently explained by Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com, the NFL has seen a gradual increase in the addition of foreign players, with 10 players born outside the U.S. drafted last month.? Five of them, including fifth overall pick Ziggy Ansah, were picked in the first two rounds.
Since all played college football in the U.S., it means the NFL found these players in the traditional way.? At some point, the NFL could be at the front lines of searching for players beyond our borders.
?We may be at the tip of the iceberg with this,? Falcons G.M. Thomas Dimitroff told Marvez.? ?Some very talented athletes from other countries as they learn our game and nuances will begin to excel more than others have in the past.
?I think we?ve become a lot more open-minded to the fact we will invite players outside of our country where there was once a stigma attached about not having a true understanding of football.? We now say that while they may not have a true understanding yet, the potential athleticism and phenotype suggest there?s some serious upside.?
The goal becomes finding large men who can do what NFL players need to do, and then teaching them how to do it.? ?There are big, fast, strong athletes with upside to grow into NFL players,? Dimitroff said.? ?These guys may someday be coming in waves.?
Of course, getting more people in other countries interested in football will result in more NFL body types finding the game, instead of the game having to find them.? As more foreign players make their way to America, more will become aware of the path.? Also, as more NFL football is played in places other than America, more will become aware of the game.
One major step in that direction would be the recognition of football by the International Olympic Committee.? Per Marvez, a ruling on the International Federation of American Football?s pending application is expected by June.? Eventually, a seven-on-seven version of football could become the global version of the game.
Whether it?s seven or 11 or any other number, the more exposure the game with the uniquely shaped ball gets in other countries, the more potential NFL players can be found from other places.
Of course, those who balk at the NFL taking ?our? game to other countries will surely complain about players from other countries taking NFL jobs.? But the obsession with winning will take coaches and General Managers anywhere for potential players, proving once again that a system based exclusively on merit is the best way to ensure diversity and inclusion.

ABUJA, Nigeria (AP) ? Nigeria's military says its offensive against insurgents in the country's restive northeast has killed at least 14 suspected Islamic extremists and three soldiers.
Brig. Gen. Chris Olukolade, a military spokesman, said in a statement that one soldier also was missing as "forces have been engaging a large number of heavily armed terrorists" for the last two days. He did not say exactly where the fighting occurred but that about 20 people were arrested.
There was no independent confirmation of the military's claims.
Olukolade says the extremists are in "disarray" and fleeing to Nigeria's borders with Cameroon, Chad and Niger.
A decree by President Goodluck Jonathan put Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states under emergency rule, allowing the military to arrest anyone and occupy any building it suspects of housing extremists.

CAIRO (AP) ? Cairo airport officials say baggage handlers have resumed work after a strike that left passengers on 20 international flights from Europe and Arab countries waiting several hours for luggage.
Baggage handlers went on strike Saturday afternoon to demand stronger safety measures after a colleague died when a conveyer belt used to unload luggage fell on his head.
His EgyptAir co-workers say it took more than an hour for the ambulance to arrive at the scene from the airport's onsite hospital. Hospital officials deny this, and say the ambulance arrived within 10 minutes.
EgyptAir official Alaa el-Shahawy, who is responsible for ground logistics at Cairo airport, submitted his resignation Sunday. Airport officials say he will remain in the job until an investigation is complete.
Officials spoke anonymously in line with regulations.

RAFAH, Egypt (AP) ? An Egyptian security official says policemen at the country's main crossing point into the Gaza Strip have closed the border on their own initiative to protest the abduction of their colleagues.
The official said Friday that the guards will keep the border closed until four of their colleagues, who were abducted in the Sinai peninsula Thursday with three others, are freed. He spoke anonymously according to the rules.
Authorities believe the kidnappers are militants, who acted after another militant was alleged to have been tortured in prison. Officials have said negotiations with the kidnappers are underway.
Gaza's Interior Ministry confirmed the closure in a statement. Sinai militants are believed to have contact with other groups in the coastal territory.

A male elephant seal opens wide at sea. Scientists have found the H1N1 virus strain in northern elephant seals off the coast of California, the first such detection in marine mammals.
By Megan Gannon, LiveScience
The H1N1 virus strain that caused a 2009 swine flu outbreak in humans was detected in northern elephant seals off the coast of central California.
Scientists say this is the first time marine mammals have been found to carry the H1N1 flu strain, which originated in pigs. The seals seem to have picked up the virus while at sea, but it's unclear how this happened.
"We thought we might find influenza viruses, which have been found before in marine mammals, but we did not expect to find pandemic H1N1," Tracey Goldstein, an associate professor with the UC Davis One Health Institute and Wildlife Health Center, said in a statement. [10 Deadly Diseases That Hopped Across Species]
"H1N1?was circulating in humans in 2009," Goldstein added. "The seals on land in early 2010 tested negative before they went to sea, but when they returned from sea in spring 2010, they tested positive. So the question is, where did it come from?"
Contact with humans carrying the virus is unlikely when the elephant seals are at sea, because the creatures spend most of their time looking for food in a remote part of the northeast Pacific Ocean off the continental shelf.
Exposure could have occurred through feces dumped out of shipping vessels passing through this area. The researchers noted in their report in the journal?PLOS ONE?this week that H1N1 has been detected in stool samples of hospital patients. Another possible avenue of transmission might have been contact with aquatic birds, thought to be reservoirs for other flu viruses, the researchers say.
Goldstein and colleagues tested nasal swabs from more than 900 Pacific marine mammals from 10 different species from Alaska to California between 2009 and 2011. The elephant seals that were studied had been satellite-tagged and tracked so that researchers could tell where they had been before and after they were tested for disease.
H1N1?was detected in two northern elephant seals within days of their return to land after they went out to sea to forage for a few months. Antibodies to the virus were found in another 28 elephant seals. None of the seals had any signs of illness, which means marine mammals can be infected with zoonotic pathogens but be asymptomatic, the researchers said.
The report recommends that people working with and around marine mammals need to take proper biosafety precautions to prevent exposure to diseases that could be quite harmful in humans, even if they don't cause illness in seals.
The new research on marine mammals is part of an effort to understand emerging viruses in animals and people by the Centers of Excellence in Influenza Research and Surveillance program, funded by the National Institutes of Health.
"The study of influenza virus infections in unusual hosts, such as?elephant seals, is likely to provide us with clues to understand the ability of influenza virus to jump from one host to another and initiate pandemics," Adolfo Garcia-Sastre, a professor of microbiology, said in a statement. Garcia-Sastre directs of the Global Health and Emerging Pathogens Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine, which collaborated with the team from UC Davis on the study.

Today marks the one-week anniversary of the Internal Revenue Service's disclosure that it improperly scrutinized certain conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status. As an inspector general report on the practice found, groups with phrases like "tea party," "patriots" and "9/12 project" were targeted for the "Be On the Look Out" or "BOLO" list, and often ended up waiting two years for notice on their status.
Somewhat lost in the furor over the disclosure is that very few liberal organizations appear to have been approved either. There is no evidence that groups with words like "progressive" or "Democratic" were targeted. But the numbers do suggest that the universe of nonprofit political organizations is small, and that liberal groups were not approved in droves while conservative ones were subject to endless bureaucratic rigmarole.
The IRS publishes a master database of all tax-exempt organizations, so it's possible to see how many groups with these words in their names were approved each month. As the Washington Post demonstrated on Wednesday, there was not a single organization with "tea party" in the name approved in 2011. In 2012, 26 groups were approved.
According to the IRS database, there were 1,017 "social welfare organizations" approved for tax-exempt status in 2012. In IRS-speak, that's a 501c(4) organization of classification type 3. Donations to such groups are not tax-deductable, and they are often not required to disclose donors.
Of those, 28 have the words "tea party" or "patriots" in their name. Only seven have the word "progress": Louisiana Progress Action Fund Inc., Progress Missouri, Progress Texas, Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada Action Fund, Progressive USA, Progressives United Inc., Progressnow. There are no matches for "liberal" or "Democrat." The complete list is at the end of this post.
Limiting the search to social welfare organizations is not the only way to compare liberal and conservative organizations. The Washington Post found that there were 30 groups with "progressive" in their name approved in 2012 by filtering all IRS records by the National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities code, which classifies nonprofits into sectors like "civil rights, social action, advocacy" and "community improvement, capacity building," among many others. This is arguably a more comprehensive approach than limiting the data to 501(c)4(3) organizations, but it also is more likely to include groups that are not explicitly politically oriented.
Even by this more permissive metric, progressive organizations did not appear to receive special treatment compared to conservative ones, judging only by the numbers of organizations that were approved. That does not absolve the IRS from clearly inappropriate behavior. Nor does it suggest that the other side of the aisle had a massive advantage due to the violation.

ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) ? A homeless, hatchet-wielding hitchhiker who became an Internet hero earlier this year was arrested Thursday for allegedly beating a New Jersey lawyer to death inside his home, authorities said.
Caleb "Kai" McGillvary, who became known as "Kai the Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker" after intervening in an attack on a California utility worker, was arrested on a murder warrant at a Philadelphia bus station, according to Union County Prosecutor Theodore Romankow. He was being held on $3 million bail.
Earlier in the day, Romankow said McGillvary was wanted in the killing of Joseph Galfy Jr., a Clark, N.J. attorney found dead in his home on Monday.
Galfy's body was found two days after authorities said he met McGillvary in New York City. He was found wearing only his underwear and socks by police who went to his home to check on his well-being.
Statements posted on McGillvary's Facebook page following the homicide indicated the encounter was sexual in nature, Romankow said, though he declined to go into specific detail.
On his Facebook page, McGillvary's last post, dated Tuesday, asks "what would you do?" if you awoke in a stranger's house and found you'd been drugged and sexually assaulted. One commenter suggests hitting him with a hatchet ? and McGillvary's final comment on the post says, "I like your idea."
It was a hatchet that helped give McGillvary a brief taste of fame in February when he gave a rambling, profanity-laced 5-minute interview to a Fresno, Calif. television station about thwarting and unprovoked attack on a Pacific Gas & Electric employee. The interview went viral, with one version viewed more than 3.9 million times on YouTube. He later appeared on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
Kimmel asked him what people were saying to him since the Feb. 1 incident. "Hey, you're Kai, that dude with the hatchet," he responded.
Romankow said McGillvary, who said in his TV appearance he prefers to be called "home-free" instead of homeless, traded on his newfound celebrity to meet fans across the country.
Romankow said McGillvary met Galfy on Saturday in Times Square, then spent at least two nights at his home on a cul-de-sac in Clark, 20 miles west of New York.
McGillvary's movements after that included two trips to meet a fan in Asbury Park, a trip to Philadelphia and another to Glassboro in southern New Jersey. He was considered armed and dangerous before his capture.
McGillvary swiftly gained notoriety after he was interviewed in February after he intervened in an apparently unprovoked attack that led to charges including attempted murder.
McGillvary said he was riding in a car with a man who veered into the worker, got out of the car, walked up to the utility worker and allegedly said, "I am Jesus and I am here to take you home." McGillvary said he then pulled a hatchet from his backpack and struck the driver in the head several times to subdue him, The Fresno Bee reported.
Last month, the driver entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, the newspaper reported.
McGillvary also goes by the names Kai Lawrence, Caleb Kai Lawrence and Kai Nicodemus, prosecutors said. A reward of $5,000 was offered for information leading to his arrest.

In my recent blog post discussing what to say to girls about body image and self-esteem,? mentioned intrinsic self-esteem.? I?ve since received several questions about it so I thought I would go into more detail about it today. If self-esteem is a word that?s triggering to you, then you have both my apologies and my suggestion to try substituting self-worth or something else that works for you, the main idea here is to think about how we think of ourselves.
The theory that I?ve learned that makes the most sense to me is that there are two types of self-esteem ? intrinsic and extrinsic.
Extrinsic is what we get from external feedback:
Intrinsic Self Esteem
This is our sense of our innate value We are each the only person who can determine our intrinsic self esteem ? how we feel about ourselves ? and part of that is deciding what factors we include in our calculations.
Many people choose to determine their intrinsic self esteem based on their extrinsic self esteem values ? people are, of course, allowed to do this but it can be pretty problematic for a number of reasons.? Our performance in role values varies from day to day ? even minute by minute as anyone with a toddler can attest -? so one day we might feel like we are an excellent parent, employee and friend, and the next day we might feel like we are epic failures in all three.? If we base our intrinsic self esteem on our role values we can end up on a self-worth roller coaster that isn?t necessarily that much fun.? If we base it on societal approval and third party information then we are putting our sense of self worth entirely in the hands of other people, some of whom have the very specific goal of making us feel bad so that they feel better.
Another option is to realize that we are the only person in charge of how we feel about ourselves and that, as such, we can decide that we are intrinsically amazing and that there is nothing that will ever change that. If today we were a crappy employee, parent, and friend then we are an awesome person having a bad day, or maybe even a bad year. At any given time we may be damaged goods, but we are always goods nonetheless. (Bonus points for the movie reference)
If we can keep our intrinsic sense of self esteem high, then we can handle the extrinsic blows with our head held high.? We can see ourselves as always being worthy of respect, love, and good care ? and we can see that when we aren?t treated that way the issue lies with the people treating us poorly and not with us.? We shield ourselves from attacks made by those who are hoping to make themselves feel better by making us feel worse.? We can see through the lie that our belief that we are intrinsically amazing is somehow hubris or arrogance (a lie most often repeated by those who profit emotionally or monetarily from its dissemination.)
Here?s an example:? I?ve been getting a lot of troll mail lately on my post about my first official 5k.? Most failed to comprehend the post, and think that I?m claiming to be an athlete soley based on my having having walked this 5k. Of course that?s not the case and wasn?t the point of the article, but so what if I was?? When did they get to be the ?Athlete Decider??? Was there a ceremony? Was it nice?? There are plenty of people, of all sizes, for whom walking a 5k is an athletic achievement and there is nothing in the world wrong with that.? There are plenty of people, of all sizes, for whom walking to the mailbox i an athletic achievement and if they want to do a butt-shaking happy dance with their newly acquired junkmail then I?m all for that and there is no reason that anyone would be against it that doesn?t begin and end with petty animus.
Anyway,? back to the example.? I?ve received tons of comments suggesting that, not only shouldn?t I be happy that I did the 5k, but I should feel bad about myself for not running it, that I should have been kicked out for walking, that nobody should be allowed to walk these races or do anything other than what the commenter has chosen to do.? These are easily identifiable as people in two camps ? those who are desperate to hold onto their stereotypes about fat people and thus have to find a way to negate fat people?s achievements/experience that don?t support their prejudice, and/or those? who are trying to increase their self-esteem by putting other people (in this case me) down.
Alas, I?m not the jackass whisperer and I can?t make these people behave like they?ve had some home training.? I do get to choose whether or not I want to fall for their crap.? I choose not.? In the end, I?m truly sorry that these people are in such a bad place but I?m not obligated, or willing, to fall on my self esteem sword to help them out of it.? I would suggest that you don?t have to either.

Qatar's Doha Film Institute on Wednesday said it has hired filmmaker Elia Suleiman?to the newly created post of artistic advisor.
Suleiman, a familiar face at the Cannes Film Festival and a former jury member for the event, will be tasked steering the territory's filmmakers and their ambitions.
DFI CEO Abdulaziz Al Khater?said the organization will want to harness his "infectious energy" to help find the "best new filmmaking voices."
Suleiman said: "We can imagine, desire, love and daydream. What is imagined, yet invisible to others, has the potential to become visible, and be shared. But we must not wait.? We must activate; we must participate. Take a leap. It is true that nothing is reassuring. But we will always have something to cling to; there is always hope. Hence the proposition of a structure ? a cinematic house of culture anchored to the principle of hope. I am convinced the essence of this hope is to be found among the new generations of visual poets from around the globe."
Suleiman's numerous accolades include the Black Pearl Award for Best Middle Eastern Narrative Film at the 2009 Abu Dhabi Film Festival for The Time that Remains?(2009).
Divine Intervention?(2002) won the jury prize and the international film critics prize (FIPRESCI) at Cannes and the best foreign film prize at the European Awards in Rome.
Chronicle of a Disappearance?(1996) won the best first film prize at the Venice Film Festival.

Becker's Hospital Review has named "100 Integrated Health Systems to Know," a list based on health systems' range and coordination of healthcare services. The health systems listed here focus on the continuum of care, from wellness and preventive services to urgent care, inpatient care, outpatient care, hospice, health plan offerings and more. Many of these health systems have also demonstrated innovation through their participation in care and payment reform initiatives, such as accountable care organizations.
The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected health systems based on rankings by healthcare analytics company IMS Health, as well as health systems' financial, clinical and operational strength.
Note: This list is not an endorsement of included health systems or associated healthcare providers, and organizations cannot pay for inclusion on this list. Health systems are presented in alphabetical order.
Adventist Health (Roseville, Calif.). Adventist Health includes 19 hospitals, more than 150 clinics and outpatient centers, 39 rural health clinics, 14 home health agencies, six hospice agencies, four joint-venture retirement centers and 4,500 medical staff physicians. In addition to direct medical care, the system offers TelepharmacyWest ? telepharmacy services specially designed for rural hospitals to improve pharmacy capabilities ? and Adventist Health/Clinical Engineering Services, which includes imaging and therapy, clinical engineering, laboratory and medical gas services.
Adventist Health System (Altamonte Springs, Fla.). Adventist Health System includes 44 hospital campuses, including its flagship, 2,247-bed Florida Hospital in Orlando. In addition, the health system offers nursing homes, home health, behavioral health, family practices and a range of specialty services. Adventist Health System has an employee wellness program, "Wellness Our Way," that includes free health assessments and screenings and personal plans for nutrition and exercise. The system also offers medical externships and a healthcare leadership development program for college students.
Advocate Health Care (Oak Brook, Ill.). Advocate Health Care is the largest integrated healthcare system in Illinois, with more than 30,000 employees and roughly 6,000 affiliated physicians. The system has more than 250 sites of care, including 10 acute-care hospitals, two children's hospitals and a variety of outpatient centers. Advocate features a 4,000-member physician group called Advocate Physician Partners, which collaborates with the system's hospitals through its clinical integration program. Advocate also has an accountable care organization called AdvocateCare ? a partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois ? and a Medicare Shared Savings Program ACO.
Alegent Creighton Health (Omaha, Neb.). Alegent Health, sponsored by Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives, was formed in 1996. It changed its name to Alegent Creighton Health after it acquired Creighton Medical Associates and Creighton University Medical Center in fall 2012. With nearly 2,000 beds, 1,500 medical staff physicians and nearly 10,500 employees, Alegent Creighton Health is the largest non-profit, faith-based healthcare provider in Nebraska and southwest Iowa. The system includes 11 hospitals, a freestanding inpatient psychiatric facility, a spine hospital, skilled nursing facilities and Alegent Creighton Clinic, a multispecialty network with more than 100 locations.
Ascension Health (St. Louis). With more than 1,400 locations in 21 states and the District of Columbia, Ascension Health is the largest Catholic, non-profit health system in the country. The system offers acute-care services, long-term care, community health services, psychiatric care, rehabilitation services and residential care.
